week 21

I remember a time where my son had a nice smile. I even have proof of its existance in photographs. But The Joker has taken over my son’s smile and I think he’s planning on sticking around.

At just over 20 weeks, Firecracker is estimated to be 11 oz and 10" long. Compared to Cam, who was 9 oz and 9" long at 19 weeks, they seem to be growing at the same pace.

Firecracker often was hiding behind that long, skinny arm. We were lucky to get this profile!

Cam was able to come and was excited to see the baby, but at one point he looked at the monitor and screamed “It’s a dinosaur!” I sure hope not…

week 20!?!

week 19

Can’t say that I’ll miss week 18. It came with a double ear infection for Cam and a sinus infection for me. Glad to put that week behind us.

Every week I ask Cam if he wants to be my model and hold up the week signage for the belly photos, which Chris takes. This week Cam insisted on taking some shots of his own. So here are some goofy photos he managed to take by himself. (And I promise I didn't crop anything to make it better…)

bowling!

Cam’s reward for doing so well with potty training was a trip to the bowling alley. When we told him we could go he started asking the girls in class if they wanted to go bowling too, so it must be his idea of an exciting date. We met our good friends Todd & Michelle with their two kiddos for some bowling fun.

He bowled 3 games (60 frames!) and still wasn’t done. When we left he asked if we could go again tomorrow, before promptly passing out.

Does this mean date nights won’t be too late?
