first skate!

So it has begun. 

We took Cam on his first ice skating adventure and he loved it. Photos will come, but I have several videos of Cam learning with Chris.

He was a little confused what to do at first, and Chris’s back was a wearing out from bending over. 

We shared the ice with a crowd of little girls having a birthday party. They were more interested in talking to me about Caiden. You can overhear them on the video above. Very cute.

Cam soon switched over to hands, and progressed to the bucket, helping Chris out.

He soon realized he could push the “snow” around with the bucket. That provided some entertainment.

Towards the end Cam requested that Chris go to the face off circles where they pretended to drop the puck. Then they would head to the crease area, because he wants to be a goalie.

It’s amazing how fast he picked up on skating. Obviously, he has a ways to go, but he loved the experience and we will be hitting the rink again soon!

Always a little awkward having a toddler hold onto an infant, but Cam did pretty well.

Then we had time to take some photos of Caiden by himself. Happy boy (if he gets his naps in, which he FIGHTS every day).

first bottle

Some time during Caid’s first week we started giving him a bottle so he is used to it. First day it went really well. On the second day I witnessed the reddest, angriest baby I have ever seen. But a week later he came around. It’s good bonding time for Chris and Caid, which they need since Caiden isn’t the biggest fan of Chris at the moment. Guess I got my momma’s boy.
